Day 11: I’m not sure what today’s writing should be…

Whenever I want to get a picture of whatever my writings are, I type a word into Unsplash. So today, based on some conversations I had, I typed in the word, apathy, and this is the only picture that came up. Really? Because I see soo much apathy in the world, I am just totally surprised, and disgusted. She does not look apathetic to me but as someone who has experienced such pain, that she needs to go off by herself to survive. I can’t read the words on her shirt, so I don’t know what she is trying to say.

I think apathy is a part of truly not caring, or those who have lost enthusiasm. That one I can understand. I don’t lack enthusiasm because I am uninterested, but more because someone has dashed my feelings of excitement because their constant denial of my opinion, or beliefs, or how I try and change the world for the better, is of no value. They blame the previous generation, mine as the baby boomers, and of my parents, for world war two. They have little understanding that the WHOLE world is in it from day one, the day of creation. They won’t fully understand this concept until the generation after them blames them for their apathy, and complaining and not doing anything to raise the world up. They seem to want to wallow in self pity and denial, and that they don’t have to do their part.

I pray for all of us.
