Day 182: Jeremiah, another favorite.. I love the Prophets.
Jeremiah was a prophet who could predict what is the worst disaster in Jewish history, similar to the Holocaust. He wishes he was not born — during that time. He does deliver good news, too. God always restores, God always give the Jewish people; hence, humanity (as we know Jesus accepts all) another chance.
You have heard enough about the destructions that happen when we, as people, or as Jews, turn from God. God is a positive path. There are energies in the world, some positive and some negative. If you choose to follow the negative path, you will only receive negative things. If you choose to follow positive things, you will only receive positive things. That is simply the law of universal energy. Put more simply, you can’t travel North going South (without going all the way around).
If you want good things in your life, then choose good. If you don’t care about good things in your life, you will simply default to the negative. Entropy. A perfectly good, brand new building will fall to the ground if positive energy isn’t put into it. For those who need science, it’s physics. But, God is Quantum Physics, and anything is a possibility.
So, I leave you with my favorite quote from Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Doesn’t that sound much better than your plans? From the Being that created the stars, universes, planets, moons and everything in between? That’s what I plan on. I pray you do, too.
