DAY 61: The Many Interpretations Of It All.

Dwellings, by Michael F. Conroy, St. Paul, MN

It is always interesting to read other’s subjective judgement on not only what is happening in our world, but how we all have opinions about how someone handles their situation. One thing I will believe, we are all being brought down to our knees (no worries, your time may show up in this..) whether you are in entertainment, governments, monarchies, entrepreneurs, the little or big person, rich or poor, religious or not, white, black, red, yellow or any color in between, educated, illiterate, believer or not.

Did I miss anyone? Well, if I did, just add it to the list, because viruses do not care who you are, because they do not have feelings, nor are they alive. Just things that mutate. Maybe aliens. I call the little bastards, Satan’s viruses, but truthfully, pestilence is mentioned in Scripture. It will be God’s healing (hopefully, your understanding of God is one of Pure Love). And, Love will ALWAYS win.

But, being Humans, we expect instant gratification — from governments, or others to solve our issues. There is no learning in instant gratifications, though, I like them, too. And, I will take what they offer me, because as a citizen of any particular country, you vote in a group who you expect will manage things, wisely, for disasters. God! Have we learned that disasters happen? And, please don’t feel bad when I say this if it is not you, but Prayer Warriors, unite! This is where we can come together. How ever you pray for goodness, it can’t be wrong. Be careful who you pray to and for what reasons.

So, what do you do with the situation at hand, that you have no control over? What do you have control over? My life has certainly changed. Two out of my three (not subdividing) skill sets have been put on hold. As a Licensed Acupuncturist, I can still treat people, but everyone is afraid to come out, except for, of course, their basic needs. Did you know that liquor stores can remain open, while practicing social distancing? Yes, liquor is considered an essential, right up there with food and toilet paper. LOL! But, I actually get it…

Good things are happening in this. Families are together more. We can still (here) walk around our neighborhoods, we can still create things others need and get them to them (if you sew, create face masks — patterns are on YouTube). I have lots of fabric, so I am making baby blankets. I love to play in my gardens — they are not great, but provide me with pleasure and Spring is here. My house will get cleaner, my excess will be given to those who can use it, I will sell those things that I no longer need, but brought pleasure and will bring pleasure to someone else. I will take advantage of online learning, I will be a part of giving (once I get over this automation issue I still have). I will create my products and sell them, online. There are many ways to come out of this. Cream always rises to the top — hence, my Whypped Creme.
