Day 70: Ion Pumping Cords
Dr. Yoshio Manaka, a Japanese physician, acupuncturist, scholar, artist, and poet was inspired by ideas and inventions. He founded the Manaka Hospital in Odawara, Japan. He developed the Ion Pumping Cords used in Japanese acupuncture to quickly move excess energy from one point to another that is deficient. He originally invented these cords for burn patients believing that the excess energy was preventing the skin from healing. These cords are used to treat acute and chronic conditions.
Ion Pumping Cord are made up of two clips, one black, one red, connected by a thin covered wire with a Germanium diode in the center of the cord. Diodes direct energy in only one direction. The black clip goes on the point of excess energy, and the red clip goes on the point of deficient energy. First, you have to determine that, and it is very easy with the AcuGraph Digital Meridian Imaging system I mentioned yesterday, in brief. After inserting the needles in the points, the clip gets attached to the metal part of the needle — some needles have plastic handles and that won’t work. Therefore, the black clip is sedating the point and the red clip is tonifying the point. As the cords are only connected to two points, the Qi can only run in one direction, you can balance these two points in 10–15 minutes. It is a very fast way to get the Qi to exactly where it needs to go. The cords move electrons. The acupuncture points are on different channels, so the cords are moving the energy from one channel to another. The Divergent and Extraordinary channel points are used. The exception is two divergent points Bladder 1 and Stomach 1 which are located right next to the eyeball, so instead the second point is used, B2 and St1.
What is an ion? An ion is an atom or molecule that has a net electrical charge. Electrons are negative (anions), and protons are positive (cations). Negatively charged means it has more electrons than protons, so, positively charged means it has fewer electrons than protons. Cations and anions attract each other and form ionic compounds. Ions are here to create energy in and for us, in almost every aspect of our bodies. When we are not in balance, disease forms.
The theory of treatment is either a Root treatment or a Branch treatment. The Root treatment balances the body, the Branch treatment deals with reducing or eliminating pain. Stuck, or excess Qi will produce pain. This is a great treatment for difficult cases. You can have up to four cords attached to different points at the same time. The patient does not feel anything, electrically, as the cords only direct the energy/Qi that is already in the patient’s body — their own. It is not introducing new energy into the meridians. Acupuncture is a manipulation of the energy in the Meridians, but can only use what the patient has. To increase energy, you must use herbs, or lasers, or PEMF systems.
